    Weedmaps recently descended upon Detroit, Michigan, transforming the city into a vibrant, late-night nexus of cannabis culture, music, and community connection with its signature Kickback experience. The event, hosted by legendary producer and DJ Statik Selektah, drew a packed crowd of creators, artists, and cannabis insiders to downtown Detroit for an immersive experience rooted in the city’s unique culture. The night was anchored by an unforgettable live performance from the Atlanta icon, 2 Chainz.

    Beyond a concert, Weedmaps Kickback Michigan was designed to be an immersive celebration, highlighting the evolving intersection of cannabis, entertainment, and local community. The atmosphere was charged with Detroit’s creative energy, successfully fostering authentic connections between attendees, artists, and prominent brands in a way that felt true to the city itself.     For headliner 2 Chainz, the collaboration with Weedmaps was a natural fit. In a quote exclusively for The Hype Magazine about his involvement, the rapper emphasized the unique spirit of the Motor City: “Detroit always brings real energy, real culture, and real people,” 2 Chainz shared.
