The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that candidates who sat for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will be able to print their Original Result Slip from Wednesday.

JAMB’s Public Communication Adviser, Dr Fabian Benjamin, disclosed this in a statement released in Abuja.

According to him, the Original Result Slip contains important security features, including candidates’ photographs, national rankings, and other details that make the document authentic and acceptable for official purposes.

He explained that the slip remains one of the key documents required by tertiary institutions during post-UTME screening and admission processes.

Dr Benjamin advised candidates to print their Original Result Slip using any internet-enabled device or through accredited business centres.

He also urged candidates to carefully check all information on the document immediately after printing to ensure that their details are correct.

The JAMB spokesman added that candidates should keep a copy of the slip safely for future admission-related activities.

The board encouraged all 2026 UTME candidates to take note of the release date and ensure they obtain their Original Result Slip ahead of admission procedures.
