     The Trump administration has approved a deal with Saudi Arabia under which the US will provide the material and technical capacity for that country to build a nuclear power plant. The deal, said to last 30 years, gives US nuclear energy companies, specifically Westinghouse and its reactor, a unique role in providing for the civilian nuclear program. The next step would be to allow the Saudis to engage in nuclear enrichment while ensuring that they cannot build a bomb.
