    The African American Mayors Association praised the enactment of the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act, calling it the most significant bipartisan federal housing legislation in decades and a major step toward addressing the nation's housing affordability crisis. AAMA President and Baltimore Mayor Brandon M. Scott said the law will help expand housing supply, increase homeownership opportunities, modernize housing programs and address barriers that have disproportionately affected Black families and other underserved communities.
