The Keefe D trial continues with more testimony from witnesses and experts. But the ballistics expert who recently took the stand appeared to confirm critical details surrounding the case. Though some theories have floated around that there were multiple firearms used, All Hip Hop reports that the ballistic expert testified that only one gun was used during the shooting.

The forensic evidence in the case supports the prosecution’s theory that there was a single shooter in the Cadillac that fired multiple rounds at the BMW that Tupac and Suge Knight drove in. Moreover, they said that the shell casing resembled those of a .40-caliber Glock.

Ultimately, this pushes the prosecution’s theory further into a space that backs their narrative. Keefe D isn’t charged with pulling the trigger. He’s currently facing a single count of murder with a deadly weapon with the intent to promote, further, or assist a criminal gang. The prosecution believes that he masterminded and orchestrated the attack on Tupac and Suge Knight after they assaulted his nephew, Orlando Anderson.

Former Gang Detective Testifies In Tupac Trial

Robert Ladd, a former Compton police officer, also testified this week, describing Keefe D’s alleged role in the South Side Compton Crips. Ladd said that Keefe D acted as a gang leader whose authority determined whether younger members of the gang could act. Specifically, Ladd said Keefe D was a “shot caller” and that the younger gang members would not have fired at Tupac without his authorization.

The trial will undoubtedly have more testimonies that help paint a clearer picture of what happened the night Tupac was gunned down in Las Vegas in 1996. We will keep you posted on any further updates on the trial.
