    Sickle cell survivor Dorian Archie spoke to the congregation at Antelope Valley Church of God in Christ on Sunday, January 25, emphasizing the urgent need for blood donors of color. He was joined by Robert (“Bob”) Woodall of the American Red Cross in Palmdale, who supported his call for community action. Together, they highlighted how compatible blood donations from Black and Brown donors are essential to the survival of patients living with sickle cell disease.
