Ruff Ryders co-founder Darrin "Dee" Dean sits down with Tony Yayo and Uncle Murda to break down how he got The Lox out of their Bad Boy deal during the "No More Shiny Suits" era. Dee details paying Diddy roughly $3 million to bring Jadakiss, Styles P, and Sheek Louch over to Ruff Ryders, swapping out the shiny suits for Dickies and Timbs, and says Puff had been more focused on Ma$e at the time. He addresses Diddy's current legal situation, saying Puff is still family to him regardless of what he's done. Dee goes in on the making of “N****s Done Started Something," revealing that nobody on the record (The Lox, Mase, or DMX) was actually signed when they recorded it at the Yonkers studio. Dee also recalls being brought 50 Cent's "How to Rob" early and passing on signing him because he knew his hungry Ruff Ryders roster would take it too far.
