The Hypebeast Cup Clubhouse wasted no time becoming one of SoHo's busiest rooms on June 26. For its DoorDash opening night event, the space welcomed a crowd of creatives, fashion enthusiasts, and soccer fans to 430 West Broadway for a night that blended match-day energy with community, style, and culture. Between the turf-lined floors, oversized speaker stacks, and sprawling Lovesac seating, the space proved itself to be one New York's best unofficial soccer clubhouses for the summer’s biggest global sports tournament. Additionally, DoorDash’s presence ensured people shared special moments together through food by Rumba Cubana and drinks by Casamigos. One of the night's highlight conversation starters was the new Awake NY x DoorDash capsule designed alongside Angelo Baque. The soccer-inspired pieces were displayed throughout the space, encouraging guests to slow down and take in the details of Baque’s designs. The standout jersey paired a tonal red checkerboard pattern with oversized star graphics, while the tree-bark-inspired camouflage shorts brought a rugged edge through mesh construction and a bright orange number 10. The heavyweight black quarter-zip completed the collection, alongside a co-branded mini soccer ball displayed on a pedestal for all to see. Together, the pieces felt rooted in the neighborhoods and communities that have long shaped soccer culture in New York. The evening wasn't limited to apparel either. Guests moved throughout the event exploring a variety of interactive moments, including games, challenges and visitors learning how daily purchases and a DashPass membership could unlock rewards throughout the pop-up's run, including giveaway entries for the Awake NY x DoorDash capsule. Nearby, custom embroidered patches featuring graphics like "2026 NYC" and "Deliver Us to Fútbol" were offered for customization opportunities. Soccer and style collided under one roof as the night buzzed with live matches, deep culture conversations, and non-stop photo ops. More than just a viewing party, DoorDash’s opening night delivered the ultimate community hub for a fast-paced city—giving New Yorkers a rare, curated space to pause, connect, and celebrate their shared obsession with sport and fashion. The pop-up remains open through July 19, and Thursday's launch was just a taste to the start of a month-long summer ritual.
