    This year, the Commanders are adding a well-known individual to their coaching group. D.J. Williams, the son of renowned Washington quarterback Doug Williams, will take over as the Commanders‘ new quarterbacks coach, according to Nicki Jhabvala of The Athletic. Doug played with Washington for four years, from 1986 to 1989. In 1987, he was awarded MVP of the game after leading the team to their second Super Bowl victory by throwing four touchdowns in a victory over the Broncos. Doug has held front office and coaching positions since his playing career ended in the 1989 season.
