Super Eagles winger Chidera Ejuke is emerging as a key name in the summer transfer market, with clubs from Germany and the Premier League monitoring his situation at Sevilla FC.

The 28-year-old has struggled for consistency since arriving in Spain, and his future is now under increasing scrutiny as Sevilla consider reshaping their squad ahead of the new season.

Mixed spell in Spain raises exit talks

Ejuke’s output has been modest during his time in La Liga, registering three goals and two assists in 54 appearances.

In the recently concluded campaign, he featured 29 times but managed only one goal and one assist, as Sevilla endured a difficult season and narrowly avoided relegation.

Despite his technical quality and direct playing style, the winger has largely been used in a rotational role, limiting his impact and consistency.

Leverkusen lead interest, Premier League clubs circling

Interest in Ejuke is now growing across Europe, with Bayer Leverkusen reportedly leading the chase for his signature.

However, the Bundesliga side are expected to face competition from England, where clubs such as Fulham, Sunderland and Leeds United are also monitoring the situation.

Scouts are said to be impressed by his pace, dribbling ability and capacity to unsettle defensive structures in one-on-one situations.

Affordable transfer option on the market

Ejuke is viewed as a cost-effective option in the transfer window, with a valuation of around €4 million and just one year remaining on his contract.

Sevilla’s financial constraints under La Liga regulations mean the club are open to selling players to balance their books ahead of squad restructuring.

As a result, the Nigerian winger is expected to be available at a relatively low fee, increasing his attractiveness to interested clubs across Europe.
