    Darren Sharper, the former NFL defensive standout and admitted serial rapist who pleaded guilty to drugging and sexually assaulting women in multiple states, has been moved from federal prison to a halfway house program as he approaches the end of his sentence. The U.S. Bureau of Prisons confirmed the transfer in a statement Monday. Sharper, 50, was moved May 27 from the Federal Correctional Institution near Elkton, Ohio, to community confinement under the agency’s residential re-entry management office in Baltimore.
