Announces Collaborative Album With Zaytoven – Giant – Due May 29 Via Rare Sound

Atlanta’s rap luminary K CAMP readies his summer takeover with new single “Gentlemen” featuring Reese LAFLARE, out now via RARE SOUND. Listen HERE. The first taste of his forthcoming collaborative album with GRAMMY® Award-winning producer Zaytoven, this release cements his position not only as a certified hitmaker, but also as one of the most culturally resonant voices in the game.

Gentlemen” is a party-starting cut from your favorite artist’s favorite duo. The song is an ode to strip club culture and the unwritten rules of the nightlife. With a different spot for every night of the week, CAMP & Reese trade verses over hard-hitting trap drums, resulting in a fun record built for replay. The accompanying video brings the track to life with an elevated late-night aesthetic. Watch HERE.

Coinciding with the single release, K CAMP announces the latest addition to his already impressive discography. Joining forces with GRAMMY® Award-winning sound architect Zaytoven, who executive produced the project in its entirety, GIANT is more than a mere collection of songs – it’s a cultural moment that resonates far beyond the music itself. This collaboration feels like a natural meeting of two worlds defined by bold sonics and uncompromising vision.

Ahead of the album announcement, cryptic flyers showed up around Atlanta, New York, and Los Angeles posing the question: WHO IS GIANT. Followers flooded online with theories and reactions, showing that curiosity is at an all-time high. Now, the wait is finally over – hip-hop’s humble giant is ready to reign supreme yet again.

GIANT, arriving on May 29th via RARE SOUND, notably follows Kiss 6 – K CAMP’s most-streamed album and the sixth installment of his acclaimed anthology series. This all builds off of his momentous run over the last year. From being honored with his own day (aptly titled K Camp Day on September 28) to his nearly sold-out, 27-city North American tour in support of Kiss 6, few rap artists have been as influential for as long as K CAMP

    ABOUT K CAMP

A breeze of versatile melodies and slyly unaffected cool, K Camp taught an entire generation how to keep it P. Since breaking out with “Money Baby” in 2013, he’s combined flexible vocals with shapeshifting soundscapes to make vibey theme songs for the paperchase, and in the process he’s become one of the most foundational creators in modern Atlanta. He adds to his legacy with “Consequences,” a matter-of-fact new single that serves as both a bop and a state of the union address for his supporters everywhere. Direct and diaristic, it’s a warning shot that’s as piercing as it is honest. And it slaps. Same for every cut on projects like Float 2 London or his afrobeat-inflected Float Island EP, efforts that showcase his penchant for swirling melodious flows with emotional transparency and effortless style. Before he began making his case as an influential hitmaker, K Camp was raised in Atlanta, where local artists began to take over the world. By the early 2010s, he began plotting his own course for global domination, releasing tracks like “Money Baby” and the irresistible 2 Chainz-assisted “Cut Her Off.” From there, he unloaded acclaimed mixtapes and an album as he secured a slot as a 2015 XXL Freshman. In the intervening years, he would only refine and expand his formula — a blueprint for level ups and uncompromising individuality.
