SummaryVirtual Boy titles arrive on Nintendo Switch Online starting February 17The library features seven launch games, plus nine future additions, including previously unreleased titlesPlayers will require a dedicated 3D accessory to view the console’s stereoscopic visualsFollowing its initial announcement last year, Nintendo has confirmed that the Virtual Boy library is officially joining the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack service. Starting February 17, subscribers can experience titles from the company’s 1995 experimental 3D console on both the Switch and the upcoming Switch 2.To faithfully recreate the stereoscopic 3D visuals, players will require a dedicated Virtual Boy accessory, which will be available in both a standard version and a more affordable cardboard edition. The collection debuts with seven titles, including hits like Mario’s Tennis and Wario Land. Nine additional games are scheduled to arrive later, notably including Zero Racer and D-Hopper - two "lost" titles that never received a public release during the console's original run.First launched in 1995, the Virtual Boy struggled to find mainstream success and was discontinued shortly after its debut. In the decades since, the hardware has become a rare collector's item, leaving its unique library largely inaccessible. This digital revival offers a rare opportunity to explore one of Nintendo’s most eccentric chapters.Check out the official announcement video above for a first look at the Virtual Boy titles coming to Switch.Read more at Hypebeast
