OMB Peezy FINALLY BREAKS DOWN YK Niece vs Pluto and the “WHIM WHAMIEE” Fallout Behind the Scenes On this clip from It’s Up There Podcast, OMB Peezy gives his honest take on the YK Niece and Pluto fallout after their breakout moment on “Whim Whamiee.” Peezy says Pluto mishandled YK Niece, hurt her own brand, and forced the city to rally around the person people felt had done nothing wrong. In his view, Atlanta picked the more humble side, and that changed everything. The outside context around this clip already gives it real oxygen. Pluto and YK Niece exploded together on “Whim Whamiee,” with Pitchfork noting the original song featured YK Niece and later got a Sexyy Red remix. The FADER then reported that Pluto and YK Niece fell out shortly afterward, while Billboard later described both artists continuing to score individual momentum as the breakout kept rising. What makes the clip strong is that Peezy doesn’t stop at gossip. He says YK Niece had more aura than people expected, handled the new fame well, and took on the solo spotlight in a way people didn’t see coming. He also says Pluto was on fire and looked like she might take the same fast lane Sexyy Red took — but one childish, premature move split the fanbase and changed her brand.
