    Comedian and Devon’s tour buddy Brittany Carney joins the show this week to talk about the music that shaped her youth in Tokyo, unpack some raunchy lyrics from a 1935 single, and draw some comparisons between George Michael and Future. Brittany Carney is a New York-based comic originally from Washington, D.C. Vulture named her one of its “Comedians You Should and Will Know,” and her debut special, That Is My Horse, is available on YouTube. Brittany is also an Ars Nova Vision Resident for the 2024–2025 season. Her acting credits include Fantasmas and That Damn Michael Che, while her writing work includes That Damn Michael Che, Teenage Euthanasia, and Networking for Introverts. She has opened for comics including Gary Gulman, Stavros Halkias, Moshe Kasher, and Todd Barry. Her Comedy Central Featuring set aired in February 2021, and her Don't Tell Comedy set was filmed in August 2023.
