Sho Baraka has always been about justice, Black Liberation, & challenging the very system that oppresses us but asks us to seek God. Once he became a Christian, he then noticed how deep things can get once he puzzled together his purpose. He realized that the desire for black liberation, justice, and digging to the root of oppression can still be achieved while acknowledging Jesus as the Most High. Walking through that, he’d been able to find his identity as his music journey progressed! Here at Da Fixx, he dives into how he came to make an album that truly reflects who he is, “The Talented 10th” and he goes on to talk about racial divide, marriage, and understanding how Jesus didn’t create the culture, he saved souls so we could create it. 💯
