Singer Spyro has continued to criticise public figures and celebrities he believes are ignoring the country’s security challenges while focusing on politics and personal interests.

In a recent statement, Spyro expressed concern that there was still no resolution to the abduction of teachers and students in Oyo State, lamenting what he described as a return to “business as usual” despite the ongoing crisis.

The singer questioned why some politicians and celebrities were continuing with political campaigns and endorsements while families of the abducted victims remained in distress.

He specifically criticised celebrities supporting President Bola Tinubu, arguing that empathy and concern for citizens should take precedence over political loyalty or financial benefits.

Spyro also reminded public figures that fame, wealth, and status are temporary, stressing that anyone can lose their position or influence unexpectedly.

    He said …

“It’s the first of June and there’s still no news about the teachers and children that were abduct£d, and it’s just business as usual in Nigeria, politicians are still campaigning and some fuuls called celebrities are still campaigning, some of them have children and I can’t seem to understand where their empathy lies, it’s about about the money and their luxury cars! You’re a nobody, you’re dust, a s!ckness can come today and take away everything you think you have as a celebrity…”
