The collection spans on and off the pitch across footwear, apparel, accessories, a football kit, and a match ball, and marks the most comprehensive expression of the two brands' shared material research philosophy to date. Endrick and Bukayo Saka wear the collection in a campaign shot by Bolade Banjo. The ABZORB 1890 trainer is the collection's most technically layered piece. Its foundation is the original 2002 sole unit, carrying full-length ABZORB SBS cushioning from heel to toe and a die-cut polyurethane foam insert — a decision that roots the shoe in a specific moment of New Balance performance engineering while giving it the kind of material credibility Stone Island's collaborations consistently demand. Above that sole, micro ripstop mesh forms the body and tongue, with no-sew synthetic overlays creating a wave cutout construction that is at once visually distinctive and structurally precise. A reflective teardrop detail sits at the toe; napped suede foxing with prismatic release paper underlay and raised grid detailing closes the build at the base; speckled laces complete the picture. The left innersole carries SI branding, the right carries NB branding — a small detail that reads as considered rather than incidental. The Nylon Prismatico-TC Hooded Jacket operates in Stone Island's most recognisable material register. Lightweight nylon tela is bonded to a finely grooved polyurethane film, producing a surface that reads liquid and three-dimensional in movement — a direct evolution of the Mussola Prismatica fabric the brand has developed over decades. The same material extends to the matching training bag, creating a cohesive off-pitch pairing that holds together as a set. The reversible cotton ripstop track jacket and trousers in bi-colour resin-coated construction introduce adaptability alongside the Nylon Prismatico pieces, while the organic cotton fleece sweatshirt and garment-dyed jersey, shorts, and T-shirt in juniper green and ivory white build out the lighter end of the range. On the pitch, the football kit is constructed in engineered recycled polyester jacquard carrying bespoke artwork that brings the Stone Island Compass, New Balance logo, and two-stripe motif together in a single graphic language. Flock-applied branding on the jersey and shorts and open mesh knit ventilation zones on the socks reflect the kit's performance intention without sacrificing the collaborative visual identity. The Pro Football, constructed with 32 thermally bonded panels and a micro-textured surface for optimised flight and minimal water uptake, completes the on-pitch offering — with additional pieces to be revealed on June 4 alongside the launch. The Stone Island x New Balance SUMMER_'026 Capsule releases June 4 at selected Stone Island stores and online.
