From June 24th to July 3rd, the Wingstop House of Flavor came to Dallas, one of only two North American cities to host the “ultimate fan destination”. The 10-day activation held at the Bomb Factory featuring free wings, live soccer match viewings, and musical performances, coincided with the 2026 FIFA World Cup festivities. On opening and closing nights, Dallas crowds went crazy for stars like FERG (f.k.a A$AP Ferg) and BigXthaPlug. Although, the Vibes Texas Takeover on July 1st was arguably the most important night of the entire run.

Vibes Texas was founded by Romii Rae (a.k.a Destinee Holloway) in 2017. The independent event brand is notable for curating creative events and shows while showcasing the best of Dallas’ independent/underground music scene. Shortly after the conclusion of the Bosnia and Herzegovina vs USA match, the stacked lineup of Vibes Texas Takeover musicians and DJs took turns delivering genuine, unique performances. For many in the audience, it was their first time experiencing artists like LYNN, Lexaay, Graham Malice and Yakiyn.

Coach Tev, a rapper and filmmaker from Irving, Texas chopped it up with us after his set. “I’ve been performing with Vibes Texas since like 2018, so to see this turnout and to see the whole city come and pack this out, it’s amazing. It’s a great feeling…I’m grateful to be a part of this”. Performing alongside Coach Tev for their new single KIONNA, southern rapper Ali Almighty was representing Greenville, Texas. “Tonight I’ll be performing KIONNA with Coach Tev… We just dropped it last week, so I hope everybody loves the song.” Ali Almighty also has plans to drop a new album in August.

“-to see this turnout and to see the whole city come and pack this out, it’s amazing.”

The crowd was starstruck when local celebrity S3nsi Molly brought out TayMoney for their song 6 in Heels. On stage with them was Dallas sensation, DJ Honey. “Vibes Texas has been super fun and amazing… I got onto the lineup because of my girl S3nsi Molly”. When S3nsi asked Honey to DJ for during her set, it was a no brainer. “Dallas, Texas you know. Shout out to Wingstop, shout out to Vibes Texas”. A true girls girl, Honey closed out with a shout out to all the ladies. Check her out at Paparazzi Chophouse on Sundays, or FiveAM Theater on Fridays/Saturdays.

Sounds were also provided throughout the night by the esteemed NaturalHiiigh (Dallas Entertainment Awards DJ of The Year), as well as StayBryght, Cozy Campos, and ASHMAR.

If you missed out on this talent-packed night at the Bomb Factory, do not worry. Vibes Texas and the artists they platformed this July 1st have many more shows, albums, and visual projects in the works.
