Y’s has joined forces with Tokyo-based streetwear label FAF (Fake Ass Flowers) for their inaugural capsule collaboration, scheduled to drop later this week. Merging Y’s avant-garde tailoring and sophisticated design language with FAF’s subcultural streetwear roots, the capsule consists of six distinct styles, including coats, jackets, pants and bags. The collection centers on Kantha quilt - a traditional Indian embroidered textile technique favored by FAF - reimagined through Y’s mastery of shadow and form. To achieve Y’s signature deep black hue, the garments were processed by a historic Japanese dye house with over a century of expertise in dyeing Kuromontsuki, the traditional black formal wear of Japan.Preview the pieces in the gallery above. The capsule will be available from August 7, 2026, through Y’s Omotesando flagship location and select FAF dealers.
