LEGO's "Iconic Trainer Moments" Poké Ball has officially arrived to provide builders with an incredibly detailed piece of Pokémon video game history. Designed specifically for adult collectors, the massive new set transforms the legendary catching device into a complex display piece that hides multiple miniature environments within its familiar spherical shell. The physical construction of the set demands serious attention to detail. Spanning exactly 2,386 pieces, the finished model measures over nine inches in height and rests on a realistic, grassy display stand engineered to make the sphere look as if it was just thrown into action. Instead of a standard hollow interior, builders construct a hidden hinge mechanism that allows the top half of the shell to open with absolute precision to reveal the core scenes inside.Once opened, the interior functions as a meticulously crafted, multi-level diorama. The bottom half houses a dynamic, brick-built battle scene, while the top section contains a faithful architectural recreation of Professor Oak's famous laboratory. The lab itself is packed with structural details, including a miniature library, computer terminals, two printed Pokédex tiles, and three molded micro Poké Balls. To populate the environment, the set includes five total characters, delivering the highly anticipated first-ever minifigures of Red, a Picnicker, and Professor Oak, alongside custom-molded figures for Pikachu and Eevee. The LEGO "Iconic Trainer Moments" Poké Ball is currently available for pre-order and will officially ship on October 1, 2026, via the brand's official webstore.
