A pastor has stirred widespread reactions on social media after making a controversial comparison between Muslims and Christians based on her personal experiences while carrying out ministry work.

The woman claimed that, over the years, she had received more genuine support from Muslims than from Christians, alleging that many Christians often expect something in return for their assistance.

Her remarks have since generated intense debate online, with many users expressing differing opinions on her assessment of both religious communities.

    Pastor shares personal experience

The pastor said, “I can tell you for free, Muslims are better than Christians. A Muslim man will do something for you because of God but a Christian man will always want something in return. A lot of Muslims have helped me in my journey of ministry but Christians always want something in return.”

She presented the statement as a reflection of her personal encounters while serving in ministry, rather than a comparison based on religious doctrine.

    Statement sparks mixed reactions

The comments have continued to divide opinion across social media. While some users agreed with her, citing similar personal experiences of receiving support from people of different faiths, others disagreed, arguing that generosity and kindness cannot be used to judge entire religious groups.

Many also urged caution against making broad generalisations about Christians or Muslims based on individual experiences, noting that acts of compassion and selflessness can be found among people of all faiths.

The discussion remains active as users continue to share contrasting perspectives on the pastor’s wife’s remarks.
