NORFOLK, Va. – North Carolina Central’s Neiman Sneed and Morgan State’s Makaya Stubbs have been selected as the recipients of the 2026 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Postgraduate Scholarship.

Established in 2000 by the MEAC Delegate Assembly, the Postgraduate Scholarship program recognizes student-athletes who have distinguished themselves both academically and athletically.

Each year, the MEAC awards one male and one female student-athlete a $5,000 scholarship to assist with the pursuit of an advanced degree. Recipients must be in their final season of eligibility and have competed with distinction as members of a MEAC varsity sports program.

A member of North Carolina Central’s men’s tennis team, Sneed graduated with a 3.65 cumulative grade point average. A native of Augusta, Ga., he was a four-time Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar-Athlete and a three-time MEAC All-Academic Team selection.

A native of Douglasville, Ga., Stubbs competed as a top/tumbler on Morgan State’s acrobatics and tumbling team and graduated a year early with a bachelor’s degree in Applied Liberal Studies. She was also a three-time MEAC All-Academic Team selection.
