A Nigerian lady has publicly appealed for help after alleging that she lost her ₦18 million life savings to a travel agent during an application for a Canadian visa.

According to her, she paid the agent ₦18 million to process her visa. A video she shared claimed the agent allegedly submitted falsified bank documents as part of her application.

She said the visa application was subsequently refused by Canadian authorities, who also imposed a five-year ban on her from applying because of the fraudulent documentation.

The woman further alleged that despite the outcome, the travel agent has refused to refund the ₦18 million she paid.

Describing the ordeal as devastating, she said she had invested her entire life savings and felt her life had been turned upside down.

Her claims have elicited sympathy online, with many Nigerians urging prospective travelers to verify the credibility of visa consultants and carefully review all documents submitted on their behalf before any application is lodged.

The allegations have not been independently verified, and the travel agent has not publicly responded to the claims. If the allegations are accurate, the matter could potentially involve both civil and criminal legal issues.

    She said in part …

“Nigerians please come and help me, I used My entire Life Savings N18Million to pay a Traveling agent N18Million to do Canada visa for me, only to find out that I’ve been scammed and now Canada has denied my Visa and banned me for 5 years, the travel agent has refused to refund my N18m, my life is finished…”
