Things aren’t looking too stellar for Rod Wave these days as the rapper’s legal troubles hover over his head. The rapper’s ongoing criminal case in George reached a new phase when prosecutors turned over a substantial collection of evidence to the rapper’s defense.

According to All Hip Hop, the 26-year-old artist is facing 14 charges connected to an April 2025 incident at his Milton residence. Prosecutors provided his attorneys with more than 90 gigabytes of material on July 31, including approximately 1,900 photographs, 111 videos and several audio files.

The evidence relates to allegations involving firearms, assault, reckless behavior and property damage. Among the accusations are aggravated assault, possessing a firearm during the commission of a felony, allegedly pointing a weapon at another person, reckless conduct and criminal damage to property.

Authorities began investigating after a reported burglary at Green’s home. Police say a safe was taken from the basement before a dispute later unfolded at the property. Investigators allege that multiple shots were fired outside the residence, with bullets damaging a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon and a Rolls-Royce.

Officers reportedly recovered shell casings near the driveway and discovered evidence of gunfire on the vehicles. A firearm was also located at the scene.

    Rod Wave Attorney Pushes Back

Rod Wave has pleaded not guilty and maintains that he was responding to a burglary rather than committing a crime. His attorney, Drew Findling, has repeatedly rejected the prosecution’s allegations.

“There is no truth to these charges,” Findling stated. “Rod Green was a victim of a burglary and committed no crimes. How he was even charged as a result of this situation is incomprehensible. This will absolutely be resolved favorably to Mr. Green.”

Rod Wave’s next hearing is scheduled for September 28 when the legal proceedings are expected to continue.

In related news, fans will be eating good this fall as Rod Wave revs up to release his next album. Don’t Look Down is expected to drop on August 28th with the accompanying tour launching on September 12th.
