For over six years, Sylvia Darlene’s voice was the heartbeat of the airwaves. Commanding live radio with effortless charisma, quick-witted crowd work, and an undeniable magnetic energy, Sylvia established herself as a broadcast force to be reckoned with. But as radio evolved, so did her vision. Moving past the studio turntables and traditional soundboards, Sylvia set her sights on a new arena—one powered by high stakes, unscripted drama, and larger-than-life personalities: the professional wrestling industry.

Her transition from classic broadcast radio host to one of the most compelling digital media voices in sports entertainment is a masterclass in modern reinvention.

Equipped with a veteran broadcast toolkit, Sylvia shifted into wrestling journalism and digital content creation, creating a signature space for herself by working with the big names in the industry such as Ric Flair, Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, Carmelo Hayes, and many more along with her team on the hit platform Beyond The Bell Podcast.

Beyond The Bell consist of eight analysts in the wrestling space by the names of Karlito Kannon, Trigga Trey, Sylvia The Siren, Lovely Laveau, Blkout Jones, Mr. 211, Sinister, and DJ Carolina X, as they present to you a backstage pass to the history, culture, and future of professional wrestling. They break down the industry’s most iconic eras and bring you exclusive, sit-down interviews with the top superstars across WWE, AEW, TNA, and ASÉ Wrestling.

“Radio teaches you how to think on your feet, listen actively, and build trust in seconds,” Sylvia notes on her early media journey. “When you step into the wrestling space, that instincts-driven background becomes your secret weapon.”

“As a black woman in the creator space, I want to inspire future content creators that want to follow their dreams as a journalist in this space. I look up to creators such as Chris Van Vliet, Denise Salcedo, and others to build my craft in the best way possible.”

“I also wanted to give a shout out to other creators as well such as Lovely Laveau, Alia V Wrestling, JakTheRipper, Kid Yeet, Chris Moore, D Baby, Lip Gloss & Ladders, Micah Misfit, Toni Rasslin, Lay Lay, Isha, and more black content creators who are shaping the way for us in the field that we absolutely love!”
