New images of the Reebok G-Unit G6 have surfaced, and this batch zooms in on the details. The sneaker releases August 20th for $130 through JD Sports and other retailers.

The white leather upper is confirmed to run clean and true to the 2003 build. Light grey suede wraps the toe cap, matching what fans remember from the original release. A tri-color red, white, and blue badge sits right at the toe box, adding that patriotic pop early collectors loved.

Close-up shots also reveal a silver “G-6” branded lace dubrae sitting on the laces. It’s a small detail, but one longtime fans will appreciate. The heel carries a matching tri-color tab alongside the signature “G-Unit” script, embroidered in royal blue on the lateral side.

The outsole picks up a translucent blue tint that deepens toward the heel. It’s a subtle nod to the shoe’s original color story without overwhelming the clean white base. Reebok branding rounds things out on the tongue tag and heel, with an “RBK” logo also stamped along the white midsole.

The studio setting for these shots is a nice touch too, with the pair photographed on a mixing board and surrounded by studio monitors. It’s a fitting backdrop for a shoe born out of G-Unit’s run at the top of the music industry. Little creative choices like that go a long way in building hype before a release actually lands.

These aren’t groundbreaking new details, but that’s kind of the point. Reebok is clearly aiming for a 1:1 retro rather than a modern reinterpretation, and every close-up shot backs that up.

The G6 built its reputation on exactly this kind of clean, detail-heavy design back in 2003. Oversized branding wasn’t the move here. Instead, it was small touches like the lace dubrae and heel tab that made the shoe feel premium at the time.

With the release now just under two weeks out, expect more detailed looks and possibly on-foot shots to keep surfacing. For a shoe that spent over twenty years as a rumor, every new image feels like proof this comeback is actually real.
