    Popular content creator MC Mbakara has publicly apologised to Nollywood actor Jim Iyke following backlash over a viral elevator encounter video.

    The video, which circulated widely on social media, showed the moment Mbakara and his wife met the veteran actor in an elevator.

    Backlash Over Viral Clip

    In the clip, Jim Iyke was seen exchanging a quick handshake and greeting before stepping away, as he appeared to be in a hurry.

    However, Mbakara later expressed disappointment over the encounter, suggesting that the actor appeared unfriendly during the exchange.

    He said:

    “What will it take for him to smile? It’s annoying. Celebrities always feeling like they are God or something.”

    In another post, he added:

    “I Stumbled On Jim Iyke And This Happened. I Love Him Regardless.”

    The comments triggered mixed reactions online.

    MC Mbakara Apologises

    Following the backlash, Mbakara took to his official Facebook page to retract his statement and admitted that he was wrong.

    He wrote:

    “I never thought this will trend but I am dropping my sincere apologies to Uncle Jim Iyke and everyone about this issue. I was wrong.”

    His apology has since generated fresh reactions on social media.
