    The Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, Ayo Ni O, has announced the death of its Spiritual Father, His Most Eminence Emmanuel Alogbo.

    The respected Nigerian cleric reportedly died at the age of 93, bringing an end to decades of spiritual leadership and service.

    Church announces Emmanuel Alogbo’s death

    In a statement released by the church, Alogbo was said to have passed away peacefully in the early hours of Thursday, July 30, 2026.

    The statement, signed by the church’s Secretary-General, Prophet Anthony Olusesan Samaye, revealed that the spiritual leader died at about 2:10 a.m. at his residence in Lagos.

    According to the church, he spent his final moments surrounded by family members and domestic staff.

    The statement read:

    “With gratitude to God Almighty for a life well spent… our Spiritual Father was called to glory in the early hours of today.”

    Church mourns spiritual leader

    The church described Alogbo as a devoted servant of God whose life was dedicated to faith, leadership and humanity.

    His passing has left members of the Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide mourning, with many describing his death as the end of an important chapter in the history of the church.

    Alogbo was regarded as one of Nigeria’s longest-serving church leaders and played a major role in promoting the growth and influence of the indigenous Christian movement within Nigeria and beyond.

    Seven days of prayers announced

    As part of activities to honour the late cleric, the church announced seven days of prayer sessions at his Lagos residence.

    Members and followers are expected to gather during the period to pray and pay tribute to the spiritual leader.
